Sheila et Ron's holidays
Our friends Sheila and Ron staid 2 weeks on our lake. They were happy by their holidays, because Ron caught a 51.5 pounds common carp, his record. Sheila who begins fishing caught also some carps !! Of course, they caught other fishes. In total, 20 fishes in 9 days, 7 catfish 20 pounds to 26, 7 grasscarp 28 pounds and 12 carps including 51.5 pound common and 3 over 30 pound.
Baits were tiger nuts and Nash Scopex Squid Liver Plus fished on e small bed of particules (hemp and groats) and sweetcorn with 12 boilies scattered around.
